British Prime Minister: Our forces are alert and ready to deter the Houthis again

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak confirmed that his country's strikes on Houthi targets succeeded and achieved their goals.
Sunak said in a speech before Parliament on Monday, “The Houthis threaten maritime security in the region, so we targeted several of their platforms.”
He also revealed: “We destroyed 13 Houthi missile launchers.”
"Threatens global navigation"
He also stressed that "failing to act against the Houthis would have weakened international security and threatened navigation globally," adding that "our forces are vigilant and ready to deter the Houthis again."
While he pointed out that "the Houthis continue to target ships despite the strikes," adding that "the Houthi attacks may lead to a further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Yemen."
Anticipates and evaluates
This comes after the British Defense Minister, Grace Shapps, explained earlier Monday that his country is still awaiting and evaluating the impact of the joint strikes it previously directed with America on Houthi sites, before carrying out new strikes.
Shapps said in a television interview when asked about the possibility of his country launching further strikes against the Houthis: “We will wait and see what happens.”
