Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, and the American, Anthony Blinken, efforts to resolve the crisis in Yemen.

The joint meeting, on the sidelines of the work of the United Nations General Assembly, dealt with reaching a sustainable political solution to the conflict, strengthening the humanitarian response and providing the necessary support at the economic level.

The foreign ministers of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the United States agreed to enhance close cooperation between the three countries and the Presidential Leadership Council to advance peace efforts.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reach a permanent ceasefire in Yemen, leading to a comprehensive political settlement of the crisis.
