A little girl died, and her mother was seriously injured, today, in a horrific traffic accident that occurred on the marine dirt line in the capital, Aden.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a small minibus, which was carrying a group of passengers, skidded due to the bus door not being closed and its excessive speed.

Witnesses explained that the child was sitting next to the door, and she fell from it when the bus overturned, while her mother was seriously injured, and they were taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

Witnesses indicated that traffic accidents on the sea line in Aden have increased recently, due to vehicular traffic being diverted to it due to construction work on the asphalt line, while the dirt line had previously been sprayed with materials and oils to consolidate the soil, which is a major reason for the increase in accidents due to slips.

The witnesses called on the competent authorities to take urgent measures to control traffic security on the sea line and prevent further accidents.
