The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority said that it received a report, today, Thursday, about an incident 57 nautical miles west of the port of Hodeidah.
She also said that the explosion occurred a long distance from the starboard side of a commercial ship, west of Hodeidah, indicating that the crew and ship are fine.
The British Authority advised ships to exercise caution and report any suspicious activities.
