The Houthi group said on Thursday that its naval forces targeted a British commercial ship in the Red Sea.
The Houthis explained in a statement that targeting the British ship came in support of “the Palestinian people, and as part of the response to the American-British aggression against our country.”
The statement added, “The British ship, which was heading to the ports of occupied Palestine, was targeted with appropriate naval missiles.”
The statement stressed “the continuation of operations in the Arab and Red Bahrain against Israeli navigation or ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
