Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on Saturday that the American and British strikes against the Houthis in Yemen complicate conditions and obstruct a political solution in the country.
This came during his meeting with the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, as part of the latter’s visit to Tehran.
A statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that the two sides discussed “regional developments, with a focus on the Yemeni file.”
During the meeting, Abdullahian said that the American and British attacks against the Houthis in Yemen “made the circumstances more complex and obstructed the political solution” in the country.
