The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, met with Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, today, Friday, with Mr. Martin Griffiths, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the work of the United Nations General Assembly, discussed emergency humanitarian interventions and relief work carried out by United Nations organizations in our country, and ways to strengthen United Nations humanitarian interventions in Yemen, in light of the humanitarian crisis that the country is witnessing as a result of the Houthi attacks on ports.
