The Houthis, who are on the terrorist lists, announced on Thursday evening that they had carried out three offensive operations, the first targeting the Eilat region, the second a British ship in the Gulf of Aden, which led to its burning, and the third targeting an American destroyer in the Red Sea.

He added that the operations were as follows: “In the first, the missile force, as well as the Yemeni Armed Forces’ air force, launched a number of ballistic missiles and drones at various targets of the Zionist enemy in the Umm al-Rashrash area, south of occupied Palestine.”

He continued, saying, "As for the second operation in the Gulf of Aden, the group carried out an attack targeting a British ship (ISLANDER), with a number of suitable naval missiles that directly hit it, causing a fire to break out in it."

Sarie stated that the third operation, during which an American destroyer was targeted in the Red Sea with a number of drones.

In turn, the US Central Command said that it shot down 6 drones that were targeting naval vessels belonging to the international coalition, while a cargo ship sustained minor injuries.
