Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, today, in the capital, Moscow, reviewed with the Arab ambassadors accredited to the Russian Federation the developments of the situation in Yemen and the region and the results of his official visit to Russia in response to the invitation of the Russian government.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs updated the Arab ambassadors on the developments in Yemen in light of the stagnation in the political process as a result of the Houthi practices and their threat to the security of the Red Sea. He explained that his visit to Russia comes firstly for more political coordination with Russian friends regarding the political process in Yemen and secondly to open New areas of cooperation between the two friendly countries, which have historical friendly relations.
Bin Mubarak affirmed that the Yemeni government stands with the just cause of Palestine... once again denouncing the barbarism of the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip.
He also called for making all possible efforts to stop the war of extermination waged by the occupation army against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of coordinating joint Arab action in the accreditation countries, and making more efforts to defend just Arab causes.
For their part, the Arab ambassadors affirmed their support for the diplomatic efforts made by the Yemeni government with friendly countries and international forums and exchanged visions about the opportunities for peace in Yemen. They affirmed their support for the diplomatic efforts aimed at advancing the political process, restoring security and stability in Yemen, and preserving its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity. .
