The leaders of the Iranian Houthi group are witnessing escalating conflicts, as sources reveal that the “Preventive Security” stormed the home of the director of the Yemen Satellite Channel, Mukhtar Al-Sharafi, and kidnapped him along with others because of his criticism of the Minister of Information, Daifallah Al-Shami. Al-Sharafi and his colleagues now face detention in a national security prison, with the possibility of his dismissal and the appointment of a new Houthi leader.
In a related context, the Houthi leader, Mohammed Mohsen Ahmed Al-Shamaj, files a lawsuit against Abdul Salam Jahaf, accusing him of fraud. It is reported that Jahaf and Hizam Asim established an alleged humanitarian foundation for fraud and money laundering under the guise of releasing detainees.
