The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Documentation and Courts Affairs, Judge Abdul Karim Baabad, chaired today, in the temporary capital, Aden, a meeting of the judicial and technical committees for the networking project, to discuss the progress of work and the completion of forms for preparing the electronic case file.
The meeting discussed the steps taken by the technical committee in the context of preparing the judicial system during the last period, and the extent of the success of the field teams in completing the tasks, and identifying the parties involved in the case file, according to the type of case, the stages of the file’s progress, and the procedures included in the system followed in the litigation process. Judge Baabad stressed the importance of evaluating the submitted study on the networking system and providing it with observations and corrections based on Yemeni laws and regulations, preparing litigation procedures electronically, and determining the progress of the judicial file, its reception, and methods for archiving and transferring it.
The Advisor to the Ministry of Justice for Information Technology and Rapporteur of the Judicial Committee, Dr. Raafat Al-Hanani, reviewed a comprehensive report on the procedures that had been prepared, and methods for entering data into the electronic judicial system (networking), according to studies presented by the field team that visited the courts.
p>The meeting came up with a number of recommendations aimed at improving the quality of joint work between the two committees, increasing project achievement, and studying the type of text or visual inputs to the system as well as the expected outputs.
