Journalist and writer Salah Al-Saqladi warned against involving the Southern Transitional Council and the entire south in new wars in the region, especially in the Red Sea.
Al-Saqladi considered, in a post on his Facebook page followed by Scoop24 News, that this step would be a dangerous adventure that would plunge the southern cause into a “dark cave with no solution or exit.”
Al-Saqladi pointed out Saudi Arabia’s reluctance to join the Red Sea Pact, considering that this indicates its awareness of “American-British malice.”
Al-Saqladi stressed that America will not recognize the right to the southern issue, because its interests in Yemen pass through the Saudi gate only.
Al-Saqladi stressed that Washington would not risk its strategic interests with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the expense of the southern issue, even if it was convinced to support it, which is unlikely.
Al-Saqladi called on the Transitional Council to stop addressing the issue of Saudi Arabia’s reluctance to join the Red Sea Pact, and to better explore the features of the picture.
Al-Saqladi concluded his post by saying: “Oh God, I have conveyed my humble voice to those concerned.”
