Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with a group of southern media professionals today, Tuesday, March 14, 2024.

Al-Zubaidi spoke about the latest developments regarding the opening of roads and crossings, describing the Houthi militia’s false demonstrations of opening roads as an attempt to evade the obligations of a political solution.

Al-Zubaidi stressed the necessity of opening the crossings according to agreed upon controls and mechanisms within the procedures of the comprehensive solution map and under international supervision, refusing to open the crossings according to the moods and whims of the Houthi militia.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Auxiliary Political Commission, the head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Transitional Council, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, and the head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj.
