The International Transport Workers Federation called on the Houthi group to lift the ban on Yemeni assets and stop illegal violations against them.
He also called, in a statement, to neutralize the company’s activity from any political differences and conflicts, and to support its efforts in serving the Yemeni people.
He praised the role of Yemeni Airlines and its steadfastness during the war, and the continuation of its work at various airports to serve passengers.
The statement pointed to the material and human losses the company suffered in order to survive, despite the departure of all air transport companies.
He called for providing all facilities to continue its work, and to preserve the future of its workers.
He explained the importance of continuing Yemeni lines to ensure the freedom of the Yemeni people to move and obtain medicine and medical supplies.
Recently, the intensity of the dispute between Yemeni Airlines and the Houthi group escalated, against the backdrop of the group freezing the company’s assets in the banks under its control, and as a result, the “Houthi” continues to detain a Yemeni Airlines plane called (Aden), which is an Airbus A330, in Sanaa Airport.
