A French frigate destroys a Houthi drone in the Red Sea

The General Staff of the French Army announced that a military frigate belonging to its forces had destroyed a drone launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the Red Sea.
The authority said, in a brief statement on its account on the X website, on Sunday, that the frigate intercepted the Houthi march while it was securing the traffic of three commercial ships north of Bab al-Mandab in the Red Sea.
The statement stated that the frigate spotted the drone, at a long distance, and intercepted it before it reached its target.
French military frigates participate in protecting commercial ships as part of the European mission in the Red Sea.
