The journalist Hamdi Al-Yafei, through his Facebook page, called for the establishment of a new political movement in the capital, Aden, to lead a corrective revolution that corrects the course of political action and preserves the rights of citizens.

Al-Yafei stressed in a post on Facebook: the necessity of establishing a new political movement in Aden that represents a political alternative that expresses the aspirations of citizens and contributes to correcting the course of political action.

Al-Yafei indicated that the new movement’s action plan will be developed in consultation with national figures with experience and competence in various fields.

Al-Yafei stressed that the movements of the new movement will take place in accordance with the state’s effective legal legislation and its official frameworks, far from any illegal practices or acts of violence.

Al-Yafei stressed that the young people who founded the new movement refuse to establish a family ruling authority in Aden that enhances its gains at the expense of people’s pain.

Stressing that the new movement's courses of action are national and preserve the gains of liberating Aden and various governorates, and strengthen its position as the temporary capital of Yemen.

He pointed out that the voice of the people will be the decisive factor in the path of the new movement, and that the movement will seek to achieve the aspirations of citizens and meet their needs.

Al-Yafei stressed the right of qualified people to assume responsibility in leadership and public office, and rejected discrimination based on tribe, regional superiority, or personal loyalties.
