Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE, met today, Wednesday, with the US Special Envoy for Yemen, Timothy Lenderking, and they discussed international and regional efforts regarding the Yemeni crisis and the latest developments related to it.

The meeting discussed the developments taking place on the Yemeni scene, the efforts made by the American envoy regarding the crisis, and ways to advance discussions aimed at finding a comprehensive solution that will end the crisis and spare the Yemeni people the humanitarian repercussions resulting from it.

Gargash praised the efforts made by the United States of America and the international community to reach a comprehensive settlement of the crisis, praising in this regard the efforts of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Anwar Gargash stressed the UAE’s position in support of regional and international efforts aimed at creating the atmosphere for a real dialogue leading to a comprehensive political settlement.
