The United Nations International Organization for Migration announced, on Tuesday, the displacement of 35 Yemeni families over the past week.
The organization said in its weekly report on displacement cases that it monitored the displacement of 35 Yemeni families, representing 210 individuals, during the period from 1 to 7 October.
She indicated that the majority of displacement cases settled in Taiz Governorate (13 families, all of whom originated from within the governorate), Ma’rib (11 families, all of whom originated from within the governorate, Taiz, and Hajjah), and Lahj (5 families, all of whom originated from Hodeidah and Taiz).
According to statistics from the United Nations, the total number of displaced people from January 1 to October 7, 2023 reached 4,652 families, representing (27,912 individuals) who were displaced at least once.
