The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council stressed, today, Thursday, the necessity of raising security vigilance at entry and exit ports in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the southern governorates, with the Houthi militia, and maintaining combat readiness on the various fronts of confrontation with the Houthi militia, to control any attempts to destabilize security and stability. And confronting Houthi attacks on the border.
This came during the meeting of the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, headed by Ali Al-Kathiri, Speaker of the National Assembly, which was held today in the capital, Aden.
The meeting, which was attended by members of the Transitional Council, discussed the security and military situation in the country, and the conduct of military operations on the various fronts of the confrontation with the Houthi militia.
The meeting stressed the need to raise the level of combat readiness on the various confrontation fronts, and prepare for any possible scenarios, noting that the Houthi militia still poses a real threat to the security and stability of the south.
The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council denounced the ongoing corruption that is ravaging state institutions, stressing the need to activate the work of supervisory, judicial, and legal institutions to put an end to this rampant corruption, and to rationalize available resources and direct them to serve citizens and the public interest.
