Mohamed Abdel-Wahab - the son of Judge Qatran - said on the Facebook platform that, today, Monday, they obtained a release order for his father from the Specialized Criminal Court, and he was sent to the “Intelligence Service” of the Houthi militia, but they responded to them by saying that the release would be delayed by a few days. , without justifying it.
The judge’s son mocked the response of the Houthi intelligence, saying: “It seems that they want a period of time to search for (the wine press) until they hand it over to us,” referring to the charge that the militia fabricated against his father when he was kidnapped last January, that he had a (wine press).< /p>
The Houthi militia arrested Judge Qatran from his home in Sanaa in early January, due to his criticism of its corruption, before referring him, after his four-month imprisonment, to its specialized prosecution for trial.
