US Central Command announced today that it succeeded in destroying two unmanned surface boats supported by Iran in the Red Sea, in addition to destroying a radar site in an area controlled by the Houthis in Yemen, during the past 24 hours.
US Central Command reported that these vehicles and the radar site represented an imminent threat to US and coalition forces and commercial ships in the area. These measures have been taken to ensure that freedom of navigation is protected and international waters are safer.
This move comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to ensure the security of maritime navigation in the region, amid escalating tensions and potential dangers to forces and commercial ships.
