The leadership of the Civil Defense Branch said that the Civil Defense staff responded quickly to the report issued by Command and Control stating that a fire had broken out in the tents of the displaced and worked to contain and extinguish the fire that broke out. The cause of the fire was negligence in the kitchen of one of the tents.

The material losses were estimated by burning 14 tents containing television screens, a motorcycle, and various tools and appliances worth about 5 million riyals, and there were no human losses.
