The British Navy announced, on Wednesday, that an incident had occurred off the coast of the city of Mokha, overlooking Bab al-Mandab.
This came in a brief statement issued by the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority (UKMTO), which it published on the X platform.
The authority said, “We received a report about an incident (naval attack) that occurred 40 nautical miles south of the city of Mokha in Yemen.”
The British authority explained, “The authorities are investigating the incident, and we advise ships to be careful during transit, and to report to us any suspicious activity.” ".
