The Deputy Director of Jabal Habashi Police, west of the city of Taiz, Major - Farouk Saeed Al-Ridwani, was subjected to an assassination attempt yesterday morning, Monday, in the Jubailiya area, the Bani Issa Jabal Habashi district, located west of the city of Taiz, while he was assigned a work mission to arrest some people outside the law and order, and they opened fire on him, which He survived it miraculously. 
 
A security source said that those who attempted to interrupt him and orchestrate his assassination were three people: Rashad Hazza Ghalib, Abdul Hafez Abdul Qawi, and Adeeb Muhammad Muhammad, residents of the village of Al-Jarin, Jabal Habashi, trying to hinder his mission and security duty.

The source confirmed that the gunmen ambushed him and opened fire on him, trying to cut him off and assassinate him, with the intention of killing and hiding those wanted by security forces and weakening the security work. He called on the General Administration of the Taiz Police, the Criminal Investigation Department, and the Taiz Appeals Prosecution to do their duty, arrest the assailants, and refer them to the judiciary to receive their deterrent punishment as a result. They disturbed public peace, undermined security and stability, and tampered with public and private property.
