The latest analyzes of weather maps and numerical forecasts indicate the impact of a state of atmospheric instability on parts of Hadramaut Governorate, including the central and western governorates of our country, as a result of the extension of the influence of a seasonal (eastern tropical wave) accompanied by a humid air mass during the next (72) hours, and it will continue. At intervals until the end of this week and next week.
The Early Warning Center expected that cumulonimbus thunderstorm activity would expand during the afternoon and evening periods until dawn hours in the following areas: -
Parts of the valley and plateaus of Hadhramaut inland and the deserts, extending to include the southern and western plateau, the highlands of Hadhramaut coast and the surrounding countryside, with limited impact on some coastal areas, as they will be affected by rainfall varying from light to medium to heavy, with local torrents flowing into some valleys and their branches.
