On Monday, the Houthi group announced the names of the members of its new government in the areas under its control that are not internationally recognized.
The government includes 22 members and is headed by Ahmed Al-Rahwi, and a decision was issued by the head of the so-called Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat.
The government removed Yahya al-Houthi, brother of the group's leader, from the Ministry of Education. It included Muhammad Muftah, a religious jurist affiliated with the Houthis and one of the most prominent supporters of the return of imam rule to the country in his capacity as deputy prime minister.
The Ministry of Interior also kept the share of Abdul Karim Al Houthi, the uncle of the Houthi leader.
It introduced southern figures and names loyal to it, but the majority is dominated by the northern Hashemite families who believe and help the Houthis in controlling the regions.
