A delegation from the UNICEF organization headed by the resident representative of the organization in Yemen, Peter Hawkins, today, has known the need to operate the Bir Ahmed water field with alternative energy to ensure the continuation of the production and pumping of water for the districts of Aden Governorate.

This came during the visit of the UNICEF delegation, in which the Director General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden, Eng. Mohamed Bakhbira, during which he briefed them on the field of operating the field and its most prominent needs. 

The UNICEF delegation from Bakhbira also listened to a detailed explanation about the level of the project to supply the submersible pumps in Bir Ahmed Water Fall, which is funded by the 30th of UNICEF.
