Chris Sutton, the former Aston Villa, Chelsea and Blackburn player, was keen to warn English striker Ivan Toney against moving to the Saudi League this summer.
Al-Ahly Saudi Club made an official offer worth 35 million pounds to include Tony, but it was rejected, and it is expected that he will return with a new offer worth between 45 and 50 million pounds, which is the amount that Brentford may accept.
Sutton, who previously won the English Premier League with Blackburn, told BBC Radio 5 Live: “I think that Saudi Arabia is unacceptable at this stage of his career. He has proven himself in the English Premier League and has all the qualities to succeed in it. He has developed himself.” Technically, physically, and his style has become more comprehensive on the field.”

He added: “He can get the whole world’s money, but Tony is now at the peak of his level and I would like to see him stay in the Premier League. I myself would have moved to Saudi Arabia when I was 35 years old, but I did not go there.”
He continued: “From a purely football point of view, he would waste his career if he went to Saudi Arabia. Manchester United are without a striker at this moment and he is definitely the right man for them.”
