An Italian press report revealed, today, Monday, the position of Nigerian Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, on moving to the ranks of Al-Ahly Jeddah, this summer.
Ahly Jeddah entered into advanced negotiations with Napoli, and submitted an offer worth 70 million euros to include Osimhen.
According to the “Football Italia” website, Osimhen rejected the offer made to him by a new Al-Ahly side, and still wants to continue his career in Europe.
Osimhen’s position was confirmed by his agent, Roberto Calenda, who said that “he has a lot to do in Europe.”
Napoli agreed to Al-Ahly’s offer and then Osimhen himself rejected, opening the door again to Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Chelsea, which wished to include the player.
These clubs tried to include the player in advance, but Napoli required 130 million euros, which was later reduced to 110 million.
However, this number was far from the efforts of those clubs, which may try to conclude the deal again, after the price fell to 70 million euros.
