Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia, spoke about his plans after retiring from football.
Ronaldo began his football career more than 20 years ago, and represented several major clubs, most notably Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and finally Al-Nasr.
As he crosses the 39-year-old mark, Ronaldo's career is approaching its end, and he is close to taking new steps.
Is Ronaldo heading to training?
One of the choices that most football stars make after retirement is to go to work in coaching, but this does not seem like an option that Cristiano likes.
In statements reported by the Portuguese newspaper "Apola", Ronaldo received a question about his future after his retirement, and he replied, saying that he "does not think about working as a coach."
He explained, “In my mind, at least at the present time, the idea of being a coach for any team does not exist. I do not see my future there.”
He added, “I see myself doing other things outside of football, but only God knows the future.”
Did Ronaldo retire internationally?
Cristiano talked about his position on continuing with the Portugal national team and said in this regard, "I am very proud to represent the colors of our country. It is a dream."
He concluded, “So, when I leave the national team, I will not tell anyone about it. It will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but it will also be very deliberate.”
