The Yemeni junior national team defeated its Omani counterpart by three goals to one in the opening match of the West Asian Junior Championship hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The young Yemeni succeeded in ending the first half with a two-goal lead, and in the second half the Omani team reduced the score with one goal, and our national team returned to consolidate the score in its favor with the third goal.
The Yemeni seeks to defend his title after winning the championship cup in its tenth edition, which was held last year in the Omani city of Salalah.
