Al-Tilal Club qualified for the semi-finals of the Aden Capital Cup in its second edition, which is held under the auspices of the Aden Capital Transitional Council and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in Aden and organized by the Football Association - Aden

Al-Tilal qualified after defeating Al-Jalaa with a score of 4-1, in the match held this Sunday afternoon at the historic Al-Hubaishi Stadium in the city of Crater

Al-Tilal began to put pressure on Al-Galaa’s goal from the first moment, controlling the ball, forcing Al-Galaa to retreat back to play counterattacks.

Al-Tilal’s continuous pressure forced Al-Galaa’s defender to commit a mistake by obstructing striker Ahmed Bucci, so the referee awarded a penalty kick, which was successfully executed by player Ahmed Maher, announcing Al-Tilal’s first goal, 

In a counterattack, Al-Jalaa striker Hussein Al-Numair took advantage of a lapse by Al-Tilal defender Hisham Balabel, so the former went one-on-one with Al-Tilal’s goalkeeper, putting the ball into the net, scoring the equalizer, so the first half ended in a positive 1-1 draw

In the second half, Al-Tilal coach Hassan Al-Laithi made several changes, and with them the appearance and performance of Al-Tilal changed. Al-Ameed scored the second goal through the player Ahmed Maher, who received a well-timed cross from his colleague Ahmed Bucci, 

Al-Jalaa, in turn, tried to threaten Al-Tilal’s goal through counterattacks that posed a threat to Al-Ahmar’s goal, before it collapsed, with Al-Tilal scoring the third goal by Anwar Hussein Farhan, and the fourth by Abu Bakr Salem, so the match ended with Al-Tilal winning over Al-Jalaa with a score of 4-1< /p>

The match was managed by referee Saleh Haidara, assisted by Ali Al-Hassani, first assistant, Ali Baslim, second assistant, and Abdullah Al-Azani, fourth referee. The referees watched behind Al-Lubna, while Fathi Abdel Hafeez monitored the match.

After the match, Al-Tilal team player Musab Haidara was crowned with the best player award in the match, which was presented to him by Dr. Muhammad Hassan Abdul-Sheikh, Vice President of the Yemeni General Basketball Federation.

This and tomorrow afternoon, Monday afternoon, Aden Unit and Al-Mina will meet in the quarter-final matches of the Aden Capital Cup in its second edition.
