Lamine Yamal, the young Barcelona star, unveiled his childhood with football, after his exciting steps in the world of football.
Yamal said, in an interview with France Football: “I remember at school, I used to hide the ball inside my bag right before entering the classroom, because the teacher did not want me to put it on the table.”
He added: "I loved playing football with my dogs. My father said that I had nothing to worry about, and that they would not bite me, so I had fun with them. Dodging the dog is the hardest thing to do! It was part of my learning, it was like training."
The 17-year-old revealed the scenes of his move to Barcelona: “I was returning home from school, and one of my friends, who heard my mother talking about this to her friends, ran towards me and shouted: You will go to Barcelona!”
He added: "I couldn't believe it. I asked my mother and she told me that she didn't want to tell me, because the matter had not been fully confirmed. It was a shock! I was thinking of eating my snack and going to the park with my friends, and then I was told that I would sign for Barcelona!" .
He explained: “When I arrived at Barça, I had this individual mastery. I had my own way of playing, but I lacked control over myself. I was a bit of a chaotic player at that time.”
He concluded: “At La Masia, I learned to be calm, to know when to play fast and when to play slowly, and to play as a team, and everything that makes the Barcelona match special.”
