The Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Al-Nasr star, spoke about rebuilding his former club, Manchester United.
Ronaldo said, in statements highlighted by the official account of Fabrizio Romano, the Mercato expert, on his account on the “X” network: “Manchester United needs time to rebuild because it is still one of the best clubs in the world, but they must change.”
p>He added: "They at Manchester United understand that. This is the only way to rebuild."
He continued: “That is why they are emerging and starting to change again by changing the structure of the club, the president, the infrastructure and everything.”
The Madeira Rocket continued: “The club owners are investing in the training field. I am happy that things are changing.”
He concluded: “I am not happy with the way everything happened, but at the same time, we cannot control some points in our lives sometimes, but it is over... it is already over.”
Ronaldo had left United after he strongly criticized his former coach, Erik Ten Hag, as well as the management of the English club in a scathing television interview, which led to his departure from Old Trafford by mutual consent, before his move to Al-Nassr, Saudi Arabia.
