The Saudi under-17 national team lost the final of the West Asian Federation Championship for the third time in its history, after the Syrian national team defeated it on penalty kicks with a score of 10-9, after the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
The match was held this Wednesday evening in Jordan, and the goals for Al-Akhdar were scored by Meshaal Al-Dawoud in the 24th minute, and Mukhtar Barnawi in the 81st minute.
Brazilian coach Mario Jorge led a squad that included: Wafi Al-Aklabi in goalkeeping, Abdulaziz Asiri, Mishaal Al-Dawoud, Nasser Al-Faihani, Adel Ayyash, Saeed Al-Dosari, Abdulaziz Al-Fawaz, Thari Ahmed, Abdul-Rahman Sufyani, Sabri Dahl, and Abdul-Hadi Matari.
