Heavily armed crews stopped Al-Shoula Club fans and Wehdat Aden players in Mansoura and tried to transfer them to Al-Mansoura Club for the purpose of disrupting the match that will be held at Al-Hubaishi Stadium between Al-Shoula and Wehdat Aden teams, in the semi-finals of the Aden Cup.

According to a sports official who preferred to remain anonymous, in an explanation to the Scoop 24 news editor, the process of stopping the fans came at the direction of the management of the Ahly Aden Club (formerly Mansoura, which is headed by a local official) due to the management’s protest against the two clubs playing on the pretext that there are players in the two teams. They play for other teams, and gunmen tried to disrupt the match, and some fans are still detained and prevented from entering Al-Hubaishi Stadium.
