Resolution No. (2) was issued by the Football Association in the capital, Aden, after reviewing the merits of the events that accompanied the semi-final match No. (7) between the Wahdat Aden and Al-Shoula clubs.
1. Event details:
- The two club buses were detained by a security force.
The Shula team bus was released early, while the release of the Aden Unit team bus was delayed, which resulted in the Aden Unit team not arriving at the stadium.
- Wehdat Aden fans took to the field after being incited by some club members, which led to a riot in the stadium.
2. Resolution:
- Imposing a fine of 500,000 riyals on Wahdat Aden Club.
- Wahdat Aden Club is considered the loser of the match.
- The Vice President of Wahdat Aden Club, Zaki Abdel Raqeeb, was suspended for one year and imposed a fine of 100,000 riyals.
- Administrative suspension of Wahdat Aden Club, Khaled Jamil Al-Sabrati, for one year and imposing a fine of 100,000 riyals.
- This decision is considered final and not subject to appeal in accordance with Articles “A and B” of the Competition Regulations.
