Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia honored its Iraqi counterpart, Al-Shorta, by winning 5-0, during the match hosted by the former on Tuesday evening in the second round of the AFC Elite Champions League.

The fifth for Al Hilal was scored by: Marcos Leonardo in the 11th minute, Mitrovic in the 15th minute, Salem Al-Dosari in the 47th minute, Nasser Al-Dosari in the 73rd minute, and Muhammad Kanno in the 90th minute + 5.

Al Hilal team won the first round of the tournament with a score of (3-1) over its Qatari counterpart, Al Rayyan, while Al-Shorta tied (1-1) with its Saudi counterpart, Al Nassr, in the same round.

The match began with Al Hilal taking control in an attempt to score an early goal. Taking advantage of the ground and crowd factors, this pressure resulted in the first goal after 11 minutes by Brazilian Marcos Leonardo following up on the police team's goalkeeper blocking Serbian Mitrovic's shot from inside the penalty area.

The Al Hilal team did not stop pressing and controlling the ball after the first goal, so its Brazilian player, Lodi, sent a cross into the police penalty area, and his teammate Mitrovic headed it into the net, scoring a second goal in the 15th minute.

The Al Hilal team continued to send crosses into the police penalty area, and one reached its defender Koulibaly in the 23rd minute, but he headed it near the goal.

The police players tried to enter the atmosphere of the match and control the ball, so his player sent a cross into the Al Hilal penalty area, which his teammate Boubakar headed near the goal in the 27th minute.

Play was stopped in the 36th minute for Al-Shorta player Mohamed Dawoud to receive treatment, before stopping after 3 minutes due to Leonardo, Al-Hilal player, being injured this time.

Al Hilal team ended the second half with an early goal scored by its player Salem Al Dosari in the 47th minute with a surprise shot from in front of the police penalty area that went into the net after the ball reached him from his teammate Mitrovic, who was unable to control it.

Al-Shorta player Muhannad Ali, through an individual effort, almost reduced the score to a goal in the 53rd minute after he dribbled past Al Hilal defender Ali Al-Bulaihi, but his shot from the edge of the penalty area was blocked by Yassin Bounou.

Al-Hilal regained control of the ball, and its player Robin Nevers sent a corner kick in the 56th minute inside the police penalty area, but Leonardo’s header went past the goal.

Shorta player Hussein Ali appeared with a new shot on Al Hilal's goal in the 62nd minute, but it passed wide of the goal.

In the 69th minute, Al Hilal coach Jesus brought on player Abdullah Al Hamdan instead of Savic and Banasser Al Dosari instead of Mitrovic.

Nasser Al-Dosari rewarded his coach Jesus immediately after his participation by scoring the fourth goal for Al-Hilal in the 73rd minute after he received a through ball inside the police penalty area, which went into the net.

Jesus made three substitutions in the 80th minute, with the participation of Muhammad Kannou instead of Ruben Neves, Muhammad Al-Qahtani instead of Salem Al-Dosari, and Khaled Al-Ghannam instead of Malcolm.
