The English team put the recent loss to its Greek guest 1-2 behind it, and achieved an important victory over its Finnish guest 3-1 this evening, Sunday, in the sixth group competitions in the second level of the European Nations League competition.

England's goals were scored by Jack Grealish in the 18th minute, Trent Alexander-Arnold (74') and Declan Rice (84'), while Arto Houskonen scored Finland's only goal (87').

The English team raised its score to 9 points, the same score as Greece, which will later host the Irish team, while Finland's score remained empty, leaving it in last place.

Finland had a dangerous opportunity in the seventh minute, when Englishman Angel Gomez lost the ball in the middle of the field, so the home team launched a counterattack, through which the ball reached Keskinen, whose weak attempt went wide of the goal.

The English team responded in the tenth minute, through a fruitful cooperation between Jack Grealish and Jude Bellingham on the left side, so the ball reached the latter, who fired a shot from the outskirts of the penalty area, which bounced off the defence.

The England team was able to open the scoring in the 18th minute, when Gomez passed a crafty through ball to Grealish, who was alone with the goalkeeper and shot to his left.

Once again, Finn Keskinen threatened England's goal in the 32nd minute, but goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who started in place of Jordan Pickford, made a brilliant save.

England full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold lost the ball, and it went to Finn Kalman, who passed to Jensen, so the latter advanced with the ball and shot it over Henderson's goal in the 38th minute.

Finnish goalkeeper Hradecky saved his goal from a dangerous opportunity in the 52nd minute, when Englishman Cole Palmer exchanged the ball with Kyle Walker, before firing a shot from the outskirts of the penalty area, which the goalkeeper excelled in blocking.

The England team felt embarrassed despite taking the lead in the 57th minute, when Finn Jensen missed an opportunity from a few yards from the empty goal.

The England national team made a double substitution: Noni Madueke and Ollie Watkins replaced Palmer and Harry Kane.

Madueke penetrated from the left side, before passing a ball that went in front of the goal, but the defense cleared it before it reached Watkins in the 71st minute.

The English team increased its lead in the 74th minute, when the referee awarded a free kick, which Arnold executed with his right over the human wall and into the net.

In the last ten minutes, Phil Foden and Rico Lewis participated in the England team in place of Bellingham and Gomez.

Watkins created England's third goal when he made his way down the left side, before passing in front of goal to Rice, who completed the ball into the net by the 84th minute.

Finland scored its only goal in the 87th minute, when defender Huskonen headed the ball into the goal from close range after following up on a corner kick.
