Inter Milan snatched a resounding victory against its host Young Boys, with a score of 1-0, in the match that was held at the Swiss-Wanckdorf Stadium, in the third round of the Champions League.

The match witnessed the miss of a penalty kick by Inter in the 48th minute, scored by Marko Arnautovic, while substitute Marcus Thuram was able to score the only goal of the match in the 90th + 3 minute.

The Nerazzurri achieved three points with this victory, raising their score to 7 points and jumping to seventh place, while Young Boys remain without any points in the penultimate place.

The beginning was dull for both sides, as no chances arose in the first minutes of the match, with play confined to the midfield.

The first attempt in the match came in the 18th minute for the home team, after Hajam cut inside to shoot and hit the defense and change its direction towards the goal, but goalkeeper Sumer pushed it away to a corner.

In the 71st minute, Lakoumi received a ball on the left side to enter the center and fire a missile shot that went over goalkeeper Sumer's crossbar. 

Substitute Zielinski almost broke the drought in the 75th minute, after receiving a cross pass from DeMarco, and shot the ball from one touch from the edge of the area and it passed along the left post.

The Nerazzurri captain sent Lautaro a missile shot from outside the area, and he excelled with the mouse to save his goal from a goal opportunity.

Males missed the opportunity to kill the match by scoring a fatal goal in the 84th minute, after his shot passed near Inter's left post.
