The Yemeni junior national team achieved a valuable victory this Friday afternoon over Kyrgyzstan, strengthening its lead in Group Nine in the Asian qualifiers for next year’s Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Yemen turned the tables on Kyrgyzstan to win 3-2 after trailing by two goals to one, in the first half.
Yemen continued to lead its group with 6 points and was close to qualifying for the Asian Cup finals, and a final match remains with host Vietnam next Sunday afternoon.
