The Al-Ahly Sanaa team defeated its Omani counterpart, Dhofar, with two clean goals, in the match that brought them together today, Wednesday, at Al-Saada Sports Complex Stadium in the state of Salalah, within the framework of the third round of the first group in the Gulf Champions League for clubs.

The two goals for Ahly Sanaa were scored over the two halves by Wahid Al-Khayyat.

With this victory, the Al-Ahly Sanaa team achieved its first three points, occupying third place on goal difference from Dhofar in the first group, which includes the UAE clubs Al-Nasr, first in the group, and Iraqi Dohuk, second in the group.
