German Toni Kroos, the former star of the Spanish team Real Madrid, was crowned the best player in the world in 2024 despite hanging up his boots several months ago.

Toni Kroos decided to retire from football at the age of 34 after participating with the German national team in the European Nations Cup, which was held in June and July of last year.

The Italian newspaper Tuttosport announced that Toni Kroos won the “Golden Man” award for the best players in the world for the year 2024 for his role in leading the Merengues to the Spanish League and the European Champions League.
