The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has approved the official classification of clubs participating in the Club World Cup hosted by the United States of America, during the period between June 15 and July 13, 2025.
The Club World Cup draw ceremony will be held with the participation of representatives of 32 teams next Thursday in the American city of Miami.
The Egyptian Al-Ahly Club channel announced that an expanded meeting would be held by FIFA for representatives of the participating teams, and the approval of the lottery classification and the levels on the basis of which the lottery ceremony would be conducted.
The participating teams will be divided into 8 groups, with each group including 4 clubs, and the winner and runner-up will advance to the final 16.
According to Al-Ahly channel, the Egyptian team will be in the third classification, next to the Saudi Al-Hilal; This prevents the two teams from falling into one group, and prevents Al-Hilal from taking revenge for its loss in the 2022 Club World Cup, when it lost to Al-Ahly with a score of 0-4.
Al Ain of the Emirates and Esperance of Tunisia were ranked fourth. Which warns of the possibility of falling into fire groups.
