Mbappe: Deschamps is behind my exclusion from the France national team

Kylian Mbappé, the Real Madrid star, revealed the behind-the-scenes of the crisis of his absence from the last two camps of the French national team in October and November of this year.
Mbappe said in an interview with Canal Plus: “My love for the national team has not changed. I miss being in the national team because I have been absent for a long time.”
Kylian noted: “In September, I asked the coach (Deschamps) not to join the national team because I had just moved to Madrid and did not get a short rest, but he insisted on calling me up and things did not go well.”
He continued: “I was injured in October, and there was communication between club officials and the national team’s medical staff. I did not participate in these discussions, and the coach told me that there was no need to call me up.”
He added: “In November, I was ready to join the national team, but Deschamps decided not to call me up, and I respect his decision because he is the first responsible for the team, but I wanted to go to the national team, but I cannot talk about the reasons for my exclusion.”
He explained at the conclusion of his statements: “I was very tired in the Euro 2024 tournament after breaking my nose, but I was determined to be with the team, and then I went on a short vacation before an introduction conference at Real Madrid and after that I took a new vacation.”
