Details of the Yemeni Football Association elections in Doha

The electoral meeting of the General Assembly of the Yemeni Football Federation was held today, Monday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, where Sheikh Ahmed Saleh Al-Eisi was recommended as Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors for a new electoral cycle until 2028.
The Elections Committee, headed by Ensaf Mayo, approved the preparation of the names of the General Assembly, numbering 71 people out of a total of 82 voters, under the supervision of the delegates of the Asian and International Football Confederations, Issam Al-Suhaibani and Ahmed Kharaz from FIFA, and Karim Haider from the Asian Football Confederation.
p>The Election Commission announced the postponement of the election for the position of First Vice President of the Federation for a period of 6 months, as the competition for it was limited to the two brothers Hassan Bashanfar and Talal bin Haidara, due to the absence of the candidates from the election hall.
Dr. Adel Omar won the position of Second Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors after receiving the highest votes against his competitor, Brother Nabil Al-Jarb.
In the context of running for the Board of Directors, in the first stage, six candidates won membership in the Board out of eight seats, after obtaining the highest votes, as the member is required to win half the number of valid forms in the balloting process, plus one.
The winners are:
Ahmed Al-Ahmadi (51 votes).
Mahdi Al-Dahimi (47 votes).
Ahmed Al-Sharafi (46 votes).
Anwar Al-Srouri (41 votes).
Labib Al Mahdi (41 votes).
Abdelkader Bajamil (34 votes).
Six candidates underwent a run-off round to reserve the last two membership seats, which went to the duo Abdel-Wahab Al-Zarqa and Abdel-Fattah Lotf
