Details of Mbappe’s injury.. Will he miss the 2024 Intercontinental Cup final?

Kylian Mbappe, the Real Madrid striker, caused concern among the fans of the Spanish team after he left injured during the match against Italian Atalanta in the Champions League.
Mbappe came off during the first half of Real Madrid's 3-2 victory over Atalanta in the Champions League last Tuesday, after giving his team the lead with a goal in the tenth minute.
Merengue coach Carlo Ancelotti said after the match that Mbappe suffered from increased muscle load and pain in the lower pelvis, adding that he did not think it was a serious injury, but he would need to wait for the examination that the player would undergo.
It appears that Mbappe, who also scored in Real Madrid's 3-0 victory over Girona at the weekend, will miss his team's league match against Rayo Vallecano next Saturday.
The French star faces a race against time to be fit to participate in the Confederations Cup final next Wednesday in Qatar.
Real Madrid will meet in the final match with Pachuca of Mexico or Al-Ahly of Egypt, who will play in the semi-finals next Saturday.
