Jose Gomez is the coach of Al-Fateh in his quest to save his season in the Saudi League

Al-Fateh Saudi Arabia announced the appointment of Portuguese Jose Gomez as coach of the team, succeeding Swedish Jens Gustafsson.
Al-Fateh wrote on the “X” website: “Welcome Mr. Jose Gomez.”
Reports indicated that Gomez will coach Al-Fateh for the remainder of the season, with the option of extending for another season.
Gomez will have his sixteenth coaching experience, the fourth in the Saudi League, after coaching Al-Taawoun twice, between 2014 and 2016 and then in the 2017-2018 season. He also trained Al-Ahly between July and October 2016.
Gomez achieved 3 titles in his career, winning the African Confederation Cup and the African Super Cup with Zamalek, and also won the Saudi Super Cup with Al-Ahly.
Gomez had announced his departure from Zamalek, due to what he considered to be the lack of the necessary conditions to win titles.
Al-Fateh occupies the eighteenth last place in the Saudi Roshan League, with 6 points after 13 rounds, from one win and 3 draws.
