The Yemeni national football team will face its Bahraini counterpart tomorrow, Saturday, at Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Ahmad Stadium, in the final round of the second group competitions of the 26th Gulf Cup Championship, hosted by the sisterly State of Kuwait.
The coach of the Yemeni national team, Noureddine Ould Ali, said in the press conference, “The national team will work to have a good match against its Bahraini counterpart, away from the calculations of exiting the tournament.” He praised the players’ performance in the previous two matches against the Iraqi and Saudi national teams despite the loss.
Coach Ould Ali praised the level of the Bahraini team and the good performance it presented in its matches against Saudi Arabia and Iraq, in which it won and qualified for the second round... pointing out that the team, despite this, will try to get a positive result from this match.
