Al-Nasr hosted Al-Duhail of Qatar on Tuesday evening in the fourth round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League for the current season 2023-2024.

Al-Nasr won over its host Al-Duhail with a score of 3-1 in the match that brought together the two teams at Khalifa International Stadium.
Al-Duhail took the lead with a goal from Brazilian Philippe Coutinho after 8 minutes.
But Al-Nasr responded with three goals scored by Brazilian Anderson Talisca in the 27th and 37th minutes of the first half, before completing the hat-trick in the second half in the 65th minute.
Al-Duhail came back to reduce the difference through Coutinho, who scored the second goal for him and his team from the penalty spot in the 80th minute, but that did not help the hosts avoid losing.
In the final minutes, the match referee issued a red card to substitute Khaled Mohamed Saleh, the Al-Duhail player, due to his assault on the Portuguese Otavio, the Al-Nasr player, in stoppage time.

Al-Nasr continued to rise to the top of its group in the AFC Champions League, maintaining the full mark after winning the first four rounds.
Al-Nasr raised its score to 12 points in first place, ensuring qualification to the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League, while Al-Duhail’s score froze at one point in last place.

Al-Nasr thus continued its dominance in various competitions this season, which it began by winning the Arab Championship title in Saudi Arabia at the expense of its rival, Al-Hilal.
